Recipe: Tomato Basil Soup
Ingredients:
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 4 cups tomato juice
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, minced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves fresh minced garlic
Directions:
- In a large pot, simmer tomato puree, basil, garlic, parsley for 30 minutes.
- Stir in cream and butter.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
